Information on Box: America's all time favorite car was the Henry Ford Model T, introduced on the market in 1908. The Tin Lizzie as it was affectionately known was produced for almost 19 years without any major changes. In the early days, Ford sold just the chassis to those customers who wanted to build their own special bodies for farming, hauling and selling. Dairy milk collectors, grocery men and grain merchants found the Model T just right for their needs. Soon body makers went after the Model T business by offering special bodies of different types and designs-from speedsters to fire engines.
